Savor our rich curry featuring melt-in-your-mouth Japanese Black Wagyu beef cheek, slowly simmered to perfection. Enjoy our gently sweet homemade muffins, made without butter and instead using premium white sesame oil and raw cane sugar, or our smooth, creamy pudding with its delicate texture.
Each dish reflects the owner’s personal care and dedication. Our “Chef’s Choice Lunch,” prepared with an abundance of seasonal ingredients, is a one-of-a-kind plate available only for that day.

A Relaxing Space with Dogs and Music
This is a warm and welcoming place where people, dogs, and music come together in harmony. You’re welcome to spend time with our gentle senior toy poodle, Rio, who lives in the café and loves meeting guests.
We also offer a limited number of seats for guests accompanied by small dogs, so please check availability in advance.
In the evenings after 6:00 p.m., we occasionally host live music events, bringing together local music lovers. The soft sounds of live performances fill the space, creating a soothing and memorable atmosphere.

A Café Restaurant That Brings People Together
Located just a 30-second walk from Kitaōji Station on the Karasuma Subway Line, this café restaurant faces Kitaōji Street and offers easy access for both locals and visitors. We are open from 11:30 a.m., focusing mainly on lunch service, and remain open continuously throughout the afternoon, allowing guests to visit at any time without worrying about strict lunch hours.
The interior features a calm, wood-accented design, and many guests come primarily to enjoy a meal. The space is welcoming to everyone—from solo diners to families and groups of friends. Many guests visit on their own, and it’s not uncommon to see friendly conversations naturally arise among customers.
With its convenient location near the Kamo River and the Kyoto Botanical Gardens, the café is an ideal stop before or after a walk or outing. Excellent accessibility and a relaxed atmosphere make it a comfortable place to drop in and spend time.

A lovely café just steps from the station. The atmosphere is warm and relaxing, and the homemade food tastes incredible. I came alone, but ended up having a nice conversation with other guests.
