Nature Healing Kamiyama is an authentic Finnish-style sauna facility located in Kamiyama Town, Tokushima Prefecture.
We’ve renovated a traditional kura (storehouse) inherited from our grandfather into a unique Finnish-style smoke sauna.
In addition to the kura sauna, the facility also features a traditional “maki-buro” (wood-fired bath), a campground, and a guesthouse area—allowing guests to refresh both body and mind while immersed in nature.
The nearby Akui River offers opportunities for river play and open-air cooling, making it a welcoming environment for families, friends, and even first-time sauna users.

With the river water temperature at 5°C and the outside temperature at 7°C, the sauna offers warmth, creating a place where you can truly connect with nature.
The heat is reminiscent of a stone sauna, providing a relaxing experience, and 15 minutes seem to pass in the blink of an eye.
It was a wonderful time spent, allowing both the mind and body to find balance and relaxation.
A Relaxing Space with Pleasant Aromas
The sauna, built in a clay-walled kura (storehouse), doesn't use insulation, making it breathable and comfortable, allowing you to relax with the scent of burning wood.
You can also enjoy the nearby river, providing the perfect environment to forget the stresses of daily life and experience ultimate relaxation.
